This workshop by remote provides students the opportunity to learn/reinforce and integrate their managerial knowledge and skills in a simulated business environment.
In essence, participants will be divided into groups to run their respective “companies” and compete for resources as well as customers in the same market. The groups are required to be hands-on and work on challenges similar to real-life scenarios, making business decisions as well as translating them into quantitative terms in order to deliver business results. The groups are composed by students of all the universities.
They run a hotel on the Langkawi Island in Malaysia and there are 5 competitors on the same market.
